AGQ Labs participates in the Nutrient Management Workshops hosted by CAPCA on November, 29th in Bakersfield and November, 30th in Gilroy
These workshops about Nutrient Management were hosted to provide Continued Education (CE) Training as one of the main missions of CAPCA ED. CAPCA ED is the premier provider of continuing education training for California PCAs, QALs, QACs, CCA’s, Private Applicators, Arborists and other License & Certificate Holders.
CAPCA represents a membership of 75% of the nearly 4,000 California EPA licensed Pest Control Advisers (PCAs) who provide pest management consultation for the production of food, fiber and ornamental industries of this state. CAPCA’s mission is to facilitate the success of the licensed pest control adviser. CAPCA’s purpose is to serve as the leader in the evolution of the pest management industry through the communication of reliable information. CAPCA is dedicated to the professional development and enhancement of its members’ education and stewardship, which includes legislative, regulatory, continuing education and public outreach activities.

Our Agronomy Director, Kenny Lam presented the topic: Water-Soil-Plant Relationships. During the presentation Kenny Lam explained the important relationship between soil and water and how this can help the grower to be more efficient and sustainable. This workshop featured interactive demonstrations and new tools for growers to improve their soil and water management practices.
