An indespensable tool for decision making

Crop Nutritional Monitoring

Crop Nutritional Monitoring is a system developed and patented by AGQ Labs. For over 20 years, we have helped our clients increase their production, improve their quality, and achieve more worldwide profitability.

In addition, all this is achieved by optimizing fertilization and irrigation costs and resources while controlling the salinity level, avoiding the leaching of nitrates and other elements, and respecting the environment.

The key to a successful crop

Crop Nutritional Monitoring

The definitive tool to achieve a more profitable, more productive and more sustainable crop

Our agriculture team, through corresponding agricultural consultancy studies, interpret the interaction between the fertilizers provided, the contributions of water, and the properties of each type of soil to determine the absorption of certain nutrients, control the pH, salinity, and the fraction of washing, in addition to avoiding deficiencies and toxicities that would have an impact on the quantity and quality of the harvest. Clients use this precise information to improve their productivity and optimize the use of natural resources.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

For this, we have developed a patented system for the Nutritional Monitoring of Crops based on the analysis of soil solutions extracted with suction probes (US PCT/Patent).

At AGQ Labs, our own quality seal certifies sustainable agricultural practices, guaranteeing respect for the environment, the controlled use of fertilizers, and the correct use of pesticides.

Our guarantee is based on the experience accumulated during our course. At this time, we have reached the optimum reference curves for the main crops. Our agronomists worldwide are experts in interpreting information, thus providing all the value in irrigation and nutrition issues.

Some of the most critical agricultural companies in Spain, Portugal, the United States, Mexico, Morocco, Chile, Peru, and Argentina have adopted this work philosophy for years. It is already an essential tool in decision-making.

HOW DOES CROP NUTRITIONAL MONITORING WORK?

1

EVALUATION OF THE PROPERTY, PLOT, AND SOILS

PROBE INSTALLATION

2

LABORATORY ANALYSIS

Soil solution, irrigation water, fertigation, leaves, flowers and fruits, reserves in roots and soil

3

INTERPRETATION AND DIAGNOSIS OF ANALYTICAL RESULTS FOR DECISION MAKING

4

CONSULTING AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE APPROPRIATE FERTILIZATION AND IRRIGATION PLAN

The Crop Nutritional Monitoring System is based on the understanding and control of the soil-plant-water system. We do this throughout the entire production cycle by analyzing the soil solution, irrigation water, root reserves, leaves and fruits, soil, and fertigation.

We analyze and interpret the interaction between the fertilizers provided, the irrigation carried out, and the properties of each type of soil to determine the absorption of certain nutrients and control the pH, salinity, and the fraction of washing; this avoids deficiencies and toxicities that would influence the quantity and quality of the harvest.

With this precise information, we carry out fertilization and irrigation plans adapted to each crop and its characteristics, with which we can improve the productivity and quality of the product, optimize the use of productive resources and minimize the environmental impact.
